    It really depends on the problem. Most things with moving parts can and will break down occasionally. It could be a spring or a gear or something simple. Of course it depends on the damage as to what the cost would be. You could check with a clock worker and see if they charge by the hour or the job. If by the hour it won’t be too much more expensive. Most parts are relatively inexpensive. If you’re really attached to it and need parts that may be hard to get, get on ebay, there are tons of cuckoo clocks for bid.
