ww asked:

Usually, an 8-day cuckoo clock needs winding every week or so. How come mine has to be wound every two days? Is this a defect?
Bought the cuckoo in Switzerland. Thought I was scammed by some Chinese owner. But the rest of the clock works alright except having to wind an 8-day cuckoo every 2-3 days. Can someone tell me what’s wrong with my cuckoo clock?
It’s a two yrs old cuckoo.
